About

Giacomo Susani is an Italian / British composer, conductor and guitarist. His threefold international activity has allowed him to develop a personal approach to interpretation and composition that is met with enthusiasm internationally. 

His music is performed all around the world, by prestigious orchestras, ensembles and soloists such as the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto (OPV), Takács Quartet, Quartetto Indaco, guitarists David Russell, Stefano Grondona and Jason Vieaux. 

He is the winner of several prestigious awards, including the New York Respighi Prize in Composition (2022). He debuted both as performer and composer at Carnegie Hall (New York) in 2024, accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of New York.

Giacomo has been active as a conductor since his debut in December 2024 on the podium of the Boulder Chamber Orchestra (Colorado, USA). Since then, he has conducted symphonic concerts as well as assisted several Opera productions.

He is artistic director of the musical production of Barco Teatro.
